With the DTE PowerControl performance upgrade, a Jeep pushes into completely new horsepower dimensions. The chiptuning add-on control unit is connected to the central sensors of the engine management system, including boost pressure, camshaft and intake manifold pressure. Now the incoming signals can be captured, optimised and passed on to the main ECU. By changing the amount of fuel injected, the quality module increases power by 43 hp to 233 hp, for example in the Jeep Grand Cherokee IV 3.0 with 190 hp as standard. At the same time, the torque can be optimised upwards by 60 Nm - an increase in torque that is immediately noticeable. The DTE chip tuning is also impressive in the traditional Wrangler: the power of the Jeep Wrangler III (JK) 2.8 increases from 177 hp to 202 hp and the torque from 410 Nm to 460 Nm - for freedom, fun and adventure. But PowerControl X can also significantly increase performance and dynamics for many other vehicles, such as the Jeep Compass.

NEW: Tuning control via the PowerControl App

The DTE performance enhancement PowerControl X can now also be operated from the cockpit. The additional performance of the DTE chip tuning can thus be easily switched on or off using the smartphone. And with a simple swipe of the phone, the driver switches between the various programs Sport, Dynamic and Efficiency, depending on the driving situation. A special highlight of the PowerControl app is the performance instruments, which display all relevant engine performance data live.
